The program comes with free Pro Tools 8 software, and also provides access to the all-new 003 Rack+ Factory Pro Tools LE hardware interface that includes eight built-in mic preamps. Digidesign is currently offering all registered owners of a Digi ToolBox, Digi 001, Digi 002, Digi 002 Rack, Mbox, Mbox 2 Mini, Mbox 2, or Mbox 2 Pro system the ability to exchange their system up for a 003-based Pro Tools LE system.
